help on buying 70kit for my runner

    hello i am just about to get my 70kit for my new shape runner what i want to know is whats the best 70kit you can get thats gives a good power output but that i can use for every day use. also is it worth porting my engine or not. can anyone help please thanks

    I use metrakit pro race 70 kit in my runner,I can say it gives enough power to beat a malossi mhr 70.

    that is abit pricey for my liking i am lookin to spend upto £160 on a kit thats gives the most power but what i can use for everyday use i dont want to tune my bike that much just the likes of clutch variator reed block inlet manifold upjet the carb exhaust and maybe a few other bits and bobs im looking to achieve 10hp but i think that will be abit too much for my standered crank is this right

    The most powerful kit you can buy that still keeps reliability is the MHR Rep. It's up to about 12bhp but has two piston rings so keeps reliability.

    Porting as with all tuning increases power but also reduces reliability, increases fuel consumption, etc.

    You can run one on a stock crank but it will be a bit of a ticking time bomb. It's best to upgrade the crank as well.

    I actually happen to have an engine with an aftermarket crank, MHR rep kit and port work which is for sale for much much cheaper than you would buy the bits and get the work done for. http://www.scootershack.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=20965

    ok thanks and i dont ave the money for anything atm or i would of had that engine off you in a flash but when i do come to doin my bike i am going for the mhr rep kit and what would you recomend i but on with the kit to get good power from and would my bike wheelie with this kit on lol thanks mate
