just had my Malossi 70 kit, 21 mm carb, derestricted manifold, carbon reeds fitted & now the f=/#*!g thing wont start !!!!!! but it will kick start.
do you mean the electric start has stopped working!!! if the engine wont fire up...clean the plug...then check for a spark... its common for the plug to oil up from all the extra lube that was put on the barrel and piston when it was installed
is there a spark at the plug?? take the plug out and connect the plug cap to it...hold end of plug against engine (metal part) and kick engine over...see if plug sparks!!!
so it turns over but doesent fire? chances are your battery hasent got enough juice to spin the engine (youve just ripped a worn 50 out and put in a fresh 70 kit remember) just ride it about a few days off the kick, if it doesent charge enough to start it your batrt is fucked.. or the ring end is incorrect and the barrel will die in 2 days
my mate had this problem but the other way round wouldt start by kick but would on the button when doing it on the button give it a little bit of throttle we did and she fired up and smoked like a bitch hope this helps
Minor , mY elec start don't work and makes that click noise you were on about, + just had my 70 kit fitted (by wobbly) any suggestions mate?
