    sounds about right,

the sat nav will say the true speed,

not bull shit of your mates of the bullshit from your speedo.

and without a gear up not going to get much more top end.

why "would you think" coz your an idiot?

we ALWAYS go on about how fast scoots ACTUALLY go on stock gearing.. a million horsepower wont make ANY diff as the rpm and gearing limits the speed of the vehicle. simple really

just for arguments sake, try uppping the weight to around 5.7 and check for any difference.

i had a play around with my rollers last week...

5.0g gave me good accelaration to a genuine 50mph then thats it...no more :(

5.5g made the scoot a little more sluggish to 30mph, but then after that it flew to a genuine 59mph (reading crazy speeds on the speedo 112kmh/70mph)

i then tried 5.3g rollers which were neither here nor there, so theres the choice!!!

And thats what i mean by finding a compromise with tuning set up....

in the end i went with the 5.5g rollers, as theres a few fastish roads on the way too and from work, and 50mph would have me in the gutter at the mercy of overtaking HGVs :(

    theres a good hill i can reach 120kmh/75mph probably a genuine 63mph..

and dont forget ive also got a 16% gear up as well....

so to cut an over long post short :emb: it is possible to have all the shizzle on a 70 and only get 50mph...some experimentation with your transmission is needed ;) (oh yeah...dont get me started on contra spring strength and testing washers between the pulley halves)
