Hey guys started it up this morning but just as I set off it cut out now if I try to kick start it the compression is there bit it sort of pops. But if I try my electric start its trying but not starting like there's no spark. I have an NGK plug cap on it could this of loosened off so its not sparking?

    Any help is greatly appreciated

trythe plug cap, popping usually means reed damage ir poor spark, so investigate here first

Has the petrol pump vacuum pipe union come out? It's just below the inlet manifold L/H side.

I'm not sure didn't have chance to check this morning would it be easier removing my inlet to see it?

No, you can see the union from the L/H side of the scoot, you'll see the pipe just below inlet manifold as it goe's forward down past the head, it may be still on but worth a look, it's a common problem on the piaggio engines.

If I discconect my fuel pipe. Take out plug and keep kicking it until fuel is out of engine then reconnect everything then should be good to go. Its been sat since Thursday and starting to wind me up

You need to first check to see if it is flooded, take the inlet manifold off and look into the engine case to see if there's any petrol. If there is there maybe petrol in the exhaust as well. If there is petrol there you need to blow it out with hp air!

Cheers for the help marsh I changed my spark plug and its running again put the old one on and it didn't so I'm guessing it was just a dodgy plug. Thanks for the help though

Cheers mate happy I got it done too was really contemplating selling it as had quite a few problems with it. But some at work said it might be a dodgy plug, luckily I kept the old one when I had changed them a while ago and its done the trick
