Which alarm have you bought? Can you provide a link to where you bought it from? Some of the wiring colours will be the same, but not all - they vary from bike to bike.

I take it that your bike doesn't have the 9-pin connector that they mention on the website? Did you get an installation manual in the box and does it tell you what each wire does? Do these videos help at all?

Thanks for the video link my scooter does not have a 9 pin plug with two wires in, it has a full set coming out of the plug so nowhere to plug 9 pin alarm thats why i though splicing would be the only way to go

From another thread on here. Your alarm is most likely a generic Chinese clone and if your bike doesn't have the 9-pin connector with the little black loop plug that you remove to fit it, then the wiring fits like this. I reckon that your bike will have the 9-pin connector.

Orange - nothing (possible flashing light)
    Both blacks - earth
    Red - permanent live
    Yellows - indicators
    Blue - starter relay input
Then cut earth at ignition switch.
Pink - ignition side of cut wire
Grey - other side of cut wire (or just an earth)

    Hope that this helps you.
