if your got an open air filter, thats your problem there, if not then airbox might have holes in there so its not sealed well enough apart from the intake hole , hmm, thats all i can think of lol, maybe a waterproof spark plug cover? mine worked fine in the rain even with an open air filter :wtf: but then again it did completely die about 2 months later ahaha

Yea deffo...if you have an open air filter...either get one of them that you can have a rain cover for...i think polini do them...or just wack the air box back on.

Errrr...between the sparky and ht plug...do you have gap...water could be going in there.....cover the gap up with something.

Try spraying the HT lead and plug cap with WD 40. (when the engine is cold, WD40 BURNS!) If this works, change the plug and plug cap because something likes drinking rainwater.

Also check the LT connections are tight. (The thin wires coming out of the coil. The coil is the part where the thick cable from the spark plug goes to.)

In an extreme case, change the coil. I had a Bajaj like a Vespa which wouldn't run in rain. turned out the "AUTOGLYM" engine cleaner I was using, had attacked the coil and split the plastic cover, letting rainwater in and shorting it out)

clean round the starter motor (wiring to be specific) had probs befor in the rain due to this... even with an airbox on it can flood out, check the feed pipes are all connected/pointing upwards.

cover your bike up at night or keep it in a garage, mine was kept outside, and my airbox is covered by my seat, fairings etc and still managed to get shit loads of water in it, and was all in the carb, intake everywhere! now i keep it inside, and i even took it off-roading yesterday lol, and it bogged out for aminute, warmed up and ran beautiful ;)

If its not already been said, change your plug cap and soak the plug/lead and coil in WD40.
