help! carb problems

    ive got a gilera runner 172 with 25ml carb and polini donkey dick air filter, i can get it to idle with the choke on, but as soon as u rev it or take the choke off the bike cuts out. help! i have just fitted the carb, have a 102 main jet and 50 pilot. am now stuck on what 2 do

    the idle mix screw is fully turned in.. turn it out around 2 turns and fiddle untill it idl's nice (once warm) and it shouldent bog out atall when first introducing the throttle

    cheers mate, do you know where i should i put the needle as well. and in the carb there is a gold plate above the pilot jet. does this do anything? because on the typhoon 172 i had with the same carb, it didnt have when i checked it?

    dw about the brass plate.. its part of the float hinge. the needle will be top notch so its the lowest position. there rich needles stock

    still no luck, ive set the carb up the way u said, and is still doing exactly the same thing? the tiniest bit of throttle and the bike cuts out

    i noticed on the carb there is a screw to the left of the mixture screw. does this do anything to the mixture or idle, coz ive just about had enough

    i remembered that there was something electrical that we took out of the carb, a metal plug, does this do anything, and could this be the reason my bike refuses to run? HELP!
