I got the kit from halfords, done all the shit it told me to, undone the niple connected the pipes....everytime i pump the brakes it throws the fluid out....then sucks back in help is apprechiated ...thanks
b pull the lever then do the nipple up,let the lever go loosen nipple pull lever tighten nipple.repeat until no air bubbles show in fluid from tube.keep an eye on the resevoir make sure its topped up.
fill the tube your using with fluid befor anything... then loosen the nipple off a little bit and just slowly tickle the lever. will feel when theres pressure in it an then you pump full strokes on the lever, slowly but smoothly. once it resists with no bubbles tighten the nipple then tickle the lever and the pressure will fully come back.. if it doesent whip the caliper off, pump it so both pistons come out, hold the caliper with the nippe at the most vertical point and slowly loosen, press the pistons in and air will come out. then tighten and repeat
there is no air bubles or air locks left inside now.....and the leaver still feels empty fucking typhoon
if the pistons are close to the disk tighten up the nipple and quickly pump the brake lever a verry small distance for a long time. foam will come up into the resivoir
Another way to get a result is to pump the lever a few times THEN quickly open and shut the nipple. The master cylinder on these bikes is like a Rat's willy, it doesn't move a lot of fluuid in one go like a car cylinder.
you've done the 'difficult' bit so its simple... leave the lever pulled in overnight (use some overcomplicated holding device if you wish; laccy band) and... magical working brake in the morning. *allows remaining 'foam bubbles' to rise through system*
had the same problem on my typhoon . the cable is beinsqueezed by sumfin take off the front panel so u can see the cable
