Ok so I've got my bike at last, but I need to know why its going so fast when its supposed to be the SLOWEST scooter out there? + it hasn't lost any acceleration from gain top speed? I need to find out what the previous owner done to it, not convinced its been derestricted as it would cost a bomb and take ages. same exhaust, same rollers I'm sure of. so what could he have done? if he did put a big bore on it how can I tell without ripping the bikes guts out? thanks in advance I need to know if whatever has been done has been done PROPERLY so my dad can give it a checkover to makesure it wasn't fucked while it was tuned or whatever
well, check for markings on the cylinder obviously... anything other than a suzuki stamp and 49cc on the side means its been uprated... i honestly recon your imadgening it and your bike is just another slow ay50 and your in a bit of a dream land.. derestricted isnt expensive, its free so its almost certianly done.,.. but ye. no pipe means it aint gonna be fast
No honestly it hits the 50mph line and just goes crazy at first dad thought speedo was out so he raced it while my mum was in dads scooby and mum clocked it going at 47 with dad on whilst on the ay50 it said he was only doing 43 so already the scoot is faster than what it says + I only weigh under 9st and my dad weighs 12st so I'm alot lighter and able to do the frw extra mph I'll try video me on it cause I've never seen a suzuki like this everyone says they aint fast and I agree but it's going over 50 easily and has great top end and acceleration. vid will be up tomorrow hopefully

people just ain't taking in what I'm saying :L Let me rephrase... it's the SLOWEST bike you can buy but the FASTEST accelerating standard bike you can get without touching it compared to other standards... somehow I've kept the accerlation and gained over 50mph out of it... I couldn't care for top speed its the time it takes to get from 0-35 or which speed is needed
you sir are an idiot.... your compairing a second hands bike that obviously has been derestricted and has a variator to the local bikes and drawing the conclusion its fast... get a vid up.. just for the record, this is a slow bike, beating a 1.1 yours is this fast yes? so its just as shit as the rest of them out there.. be told ffs
