im trying to fit a main kickstand, there was a pathetic side stand which had rusted away This is the stand I have bought And does it fit to the pin marked A? The little bracket marked B had the side stand on it but looks a little bent. Ignore the fact there is no engine mount bush, I've now replaced it. Many thanks in advance, this is all new to me
i think it goes onto that B one, normally centre stand mounts look like that, give mark a message, im sure he has a vison in his garden in bits that he can look at. good luck with the spring, they can be a bastard sometimes, use a bigass screwdriver and sort of flip it on.
With the springs, I normally attach it to the stand and engine hooks and then get the stand into position. The length of the stand helps with the hooliganism of stretching the spring and saving the knuckles
I think the stand does fix to B but B is bent out of shape and the other side is snapped off completely. Needs new ones welding on I reckon
