For some reason I have a stack of Helmets in my House... wanting to get rid of them all apart from my one I use obv. My one, Box Helmet, Silver Mirrored Visor (doesnt look Silver on here) Small Box Helmet, Clear and Tinted Visor, Bag and Box (got the wrong size) X-Small iKon Helmet Small Takachi Helmet, Bag and Box Medium Helmet (cant remember the brand) and a Small Viper Helmet I customised
this is the helmet ive got, got it off ebay £25, replacing soon as I dropped it today and the visor is scratched badly. not the best but did the job.
LOVE that one! (I like graffiti) do they have them in full, not the open face? where'd you get it from? This is mine now, just got it for the Summer as its got the separate Sun shield: I usually have a removable tinted Visor on mine but was annoying putting it on and off and it left a sticky part on the Visor, so seen this one, its got the main clear Visor which I can use in the night to stop bugs etc, and then in the day I can keep that one up so I get some air, but have the Sun one down to still protect my eyes from the sun/bugs etc...
No as far as I know it's only available as an open face. I need something exactly like that. I struggle so much with the sun shining on my visor. What's a decent price that's cheap enough? Your new lid is lovely. Bought from J&S in Leeds.
Not a bad price. I've just found this bad ass http://www.getgeared.co.uk/lazer-helmet-bayamo-z-line-balboa-graphic?sc=12&category=108
Got 2 new Helmets now..... 1 from Los Angeles and 1 from Texas.... got the tinted Visor for the Clown one today, the Graffiti one got a Sun Shield already on it.
Just getting over my 1st proper experience of using a open face for the 1st time- would advise to at least, get a nice sturdy, minimum 3 button clip on peak, cause if you go into a slide, even a small one,end up grinding the side of your face off..
i have best of both worlds, nolan modular helmet, its got a full visor that is removable and a removeable chin guard, the chin guard goes on for winter and comes off for summer
Anyone on here got an Icon Variant Helmet? I LOVE the look of them, they're around £245, i really wanted the red ones but it looks like they've stopped making them, either the Cyclic or the Salvo, so the next best thing would be the plain glossy black one with a dark smoked or mirrored Visor! (it comes with a clear, and dark smoked one, but I think the all black would look better with a mirrored one). I like the style, as I love the whole off road motocross style Helmets, but I think having one of them with Goggles on a Scooter would look weird lol and i've obviously always had normal full faced Helmets, and after seeing these Variant ones, I fell in love with the look/style of them... That would be a lot of money spent on a Helmet though, as the most i've spent is around £75 lol... and I do prefer Helmets with graphics on them, so i've been doing pro's and con's for cost, and working out how much work i'd need to do to get that £245, and after working that out it didn't seem that bad! Still need a Bike first though, waiting for my other cheques from the third party insurers, then i'll be getting the 2014 Honda PCX, hoping to get the gloss red one but not 100% yet, as I kind of like the matte grey one as well, but in that case, they have another Variant Helmet which would match it better, but i'm so impatient I want to get one now and have everything sorted for when I get the Bike so I can get out on it asap, but I still have my Killer Clown Helmet which was hardly used lol I annoy myself sometimes!! But yeah.... anyone on here got one?
I've just upgraded to a full face over christmas. I got this new model for 2014/2015 and I've got to say, it's pretty snug.
The prices you two are paying for helmets is too cheap. If you want a good helmet that will have a life span of 5 years look here, these are the ones you want. They offer the best of both worlds, both open face and full face and the integrated sun visor: ww.helmetcity.co.uk/shark-evoline-3-mezcal-mat-kar-free-gifts-2015/ PS. I bought this one. It's amazingly light and so comfy.
