Any of you out there who can help me with the following please (i.e. know where I can buy) :-

1/ the black or grey infill plastics that are fitted across the handlebars, 'the spine' and in the floorwell of a Gilly Runner. Or can they be resprayed properly ?

2/ Engine mount bush / block (the one that has a rod affixed to it and needs a special tool to fit it).

Anyone know where i can purchase either or both ?

Sorry to seem a little vague.......

    Hey Al,

How ya doin, yep I agree with ya. But to be honest, as the entire scooter is bein repainted. I thought I may as well start off 'on the right foot' with the infill panels. Just want it to look good with the rebuilt Taffspeed Malossi engine that is bein fitted into it....... ;)

As for the bush / block call it what you will - can't seem to find the item on their website. What should I be askin for a block or a bush - or should I play safe and send 'em a photo ?

try looking on www.easyparts.nl they sell origonal parts fo scooter and have diagrams that can help you find what the parts youre looking for actually is

either that or call them up and speak to them , or even go down there if their close

Or you could go to your local piaggio dealer... They hardly cost anything.

    Ok Terro,

Will give that a try as well. Its just that i have always found Piaggio / Gilera OEM bits expensive to buy over here.

    didnt mean easyparts lol

ment taffspeed assumed you were close to them as you got your engine built by them, or as tero said any dealer will do

Most things are cheaper than people think. It's always worth checking before going through the extra effort of buying from a different source.

E.g. Typhoon inner panels are cheaper than from German after market scooter part shops. Runner small screens are cheaper than most people sell them second hand. Runner speedo cables are cheaper than pattern part ones off ebay. etc etc.

    The man speaks the truth!

With my old runner I replaced all the non painted panels which were the grey to the metalic black for around £40 brand new I think.
