err hey my names Samuel, i have nrg air cooled, silver at the moment but i am re-sprayin all the panels and getting new parts for it. so far i have leo vincy pipe, polini varoiter with 7.2 rollers and k&n air filter and jetted at 76

it runs fine at the moment but cltuch spirngs have gone so it over revs to 30 then drops down

your rollers are too heavy thats why the revs drop off. if the clutch springs were knackered it wouldn't rev off the spot.

:welcome: the polini variators do come with quite heavy rollers that are more suited to an other wise standard scoot...i think mine came with 7g rollers too!!

id work from 6 down and lighten clutch springs possibly

 

yes i agree^^^

ive found that an after market variator (polini/malossi e.t.c) requires slightly heavier rollers than a std variator...due to the different ramp angles!!!

k well i properly putting 5,5s in there and i got malossi clutch springs but my mates reckon mends the yellow ones
