Hi there, As you know with the lockdown ect majority of people in self iso scratching there heads at finding new things to do.
So i've decided to break out my old moped, yamaha aerox r 2013.
Had the scooter since I left school for around 3 years but ran into some problems as it got boggy then engine decided to go.
I'm looking to rebuild this and making it a little project for something to do and get into scooter builds.

I took the scooter to local place padgetts where I got it from brand new, then they quoted me £1500 to fix it and said it blew because i took the washer out to derestrict it. LOL. Been sat in my garage ever since as i was busy with college at the time.
The scooter is bog standard nothing ever touched on it
So here is some photos and i'll be uploading regularly to show you progress of what's been done.

Blew it because the washer was took out, how laughable.
Just goes to show that some places are just there to rip people off and feed them bullshit.
    And £1500? Thieves plain as.....

    And welcome by the way

Did you torque it up correctly?
Also did you ride it fine for 3 years then it suddenly shat it's transmission? Or did the trans die after the first ride?
