hello new member with fault code 24

hello o all on scooter shack,i am new to scootering i have just bought an 2006 derbi gp1 open and am in the process of smartening it up,ihave stripped off all the plastics and sprayed the whole thing in sink and drain unblocker,leave for 20 mins then power wash,it came up pretty good smoothwrite painted all the out of sight bits that where rusty,the bike came with electrical problems so have had a bit of a look ,up to press i have found -- dead battery,burnt out starter motor and no spark at the plug,checking the three wire at the coil i have ,a neutral/earth which is good,pulse wire that seems to not be giving a pulse,and what i assume is the 12 volt supply that isn't supplying 12 volts, i can keep going into the loom to find this supply problem and check out the single wire source coil{80 to 120 ohms i believe}what i would like to know is what does fault code24 indicate,i have found out that fc24 on some cars is throttle position sensor,is this standard to all motor vehicles does any body have a list of fault codes for this scoot and maybe even a wiring diagramme?i would be gratfull if you could post it, and if your ever in my neck off the woods ill make you a bacon sanwich if you bring some bacon and some bread cheers ijr900

 

hi and welcome tbh u need to post this in the relevant section to get a better response many people don't use this part of the forum as u can see by post count replies

to fix your problem id suggest phoning a derbi main dealer and asking him what your fault code is cars and bikes are not the same as different types of operating systems

also u never stated which 'neck of the woods' you are from
