Hello from Stoke-West Mids

Ay up lads im new on here so play nicely. Little bit about me I ride a P-reg Suzuki Katana AY50 its just had a full engine rebuild and bore due to an inline oil filter problem seized the engine up but its back in action now. Im not into the music that most of you guys are into i'm into Metallica, KISS all the metal bands ect so im probably a bit different in terms on you guys but I like my Scoot its my A-B machine my twist and twat and i plan on getting another scoot soon. Don't plan on getting a big bike any time soon not sure if i even will with how cheap it is to run scooters but thats all for now

I thought the Katana I recently finished was old, a 98 model, but a 96???

Thanks for the reply I feel rather stupid now having had a quick scan through your thread as you paid very very cheap for your katana and i want you to guess how much i bought mine for and it came with its own host of nightmares

 

I bet you paid in the region of 350?
AC or LC?

It's now been crashed and broken up for bits, all sitting on my shelves and on that well known auction site. And the new owner had it less than two weeks before he crashed it. I bought it back off him for £100.

 

AC and add another 150 on top of that and about 600 quid spent on having the engine rebuilt including new exhaust (stock) sparks brake pads plus a puig sports screen

Hhahaha thought that would be your reaction hahah lets just say ive been well and truly mugged off hahah but the money spent will make it a nearly brand new and reliable scooter and with me being an apprentice i dont have cash to buy another bike and risk having problems with that one so i thought better spend the money and get it sorted and it will last the 4 years i am an apprentice hahahah

 

Is it the standard piston and barrel and standard crank? Or a 70 kit?
