Just thought I would post up and say hello to everyone. I've been searching the web for an active forum that is not just obsessed with modern auto's so hope this is the place. I have been into scooters since I was 16 and am now 24 with a full license and have not ridden for about four years, though I am hoping to get back into things this summer. I like auto's and traditional scooters, I would say I am about 60% traditional and 40% auto minded...each has their own pro's and cons. My favourite auto was a Gilera Runner 180 and my favourite traditional was a PX200 I had. To date my two wheels have been: Suzuki Katana Piaggio NRG Gilera Runner 50 Vespa T5 Gilera Runner 180 Suzuki GS500 Vespa PX200 Looking for some advice in the near future, looking to get something that can be both economical (which none of the above were) and fun (which all of the above were).
Hey thanks. Unfortunately no, I probably do have some filed away somewhere but it's been a few years since I last rode so not sure where they are now. One of the things I do remember is doing the isle of white rally one year with my brother. At the time I had a PX200 and he had a Dragster 180, doing the same speed on the same route it was amazing how much more fuel his dragster drank I'm thinking about something like the 4-T Runner (old style) or ET4. Something small, economical but still with a bit of power. Got a car that can manage 62Mpg daily so anything less from a scoot is a bit pointless.
well power means fuel! we all know that very well! yeh 4T runners are really good! economical and quite fast... but not faster than 2t.. 2t means PURE POWER!
