I’m retired and have a Piaggio Fly 125ie scooter. Been off the road for a couple of years due to health problems but now ready to ride again but having problems with battery access. Need a new battery but can’t get front glove box open to get access. Should open when key is NOT in the lock position I think but doesn’t. Can anybody’s help.

Hello flyboy dave, you could try a dash of wd-40 or even better gt-85 around the locking mechanism. Works wonders when thing have seized up a bit. I've been meaning to try some on my knees :D

Yeah I think you push it.
You can pop the front panel off and get to the cable that way too if I recall.

Pop the front badge off, undo bolt/then slide grill up - your battery cover should be on the right hand side - slightly lower than 1/2 - will give you access to the battery posts, but looks as if you'll only be able to get it out of it's cubby hole from the other side.
