I got a Piaggio XEvo Sport 125 on a '15 plate for commuting just after xmas. Loving every minute of it so far.

Last couple of days though the auto choke seems to be stuck on, the tick over has risen from below 1750(ish)RPM to over 2000RPM, even once warm.

I do a fair few miles weekly, and can already see it affecting my MPG.

Anyway nice place you got here!

On my lunch yesterday I tried closing the throttle with some force (I twisted it closed hard), and it worked! So I need to fiddle with throttle handle. At least it's easy though.

Not necessarily the throttle twist grip.
Check the cables between it and the throttle body/carb.
The outer sheath might have come out of the seat somewhere, definate need to check the entire length of the throttle cables as I have known them stick open and affect braking................i.e you can't slow down as you normally would because the engine is still revving high.
Also have a look at the cable nipple inside the throttle housing, it may have twisted in its hole and be catching on the body inside.

One of the two cables closes the throttle so may need adjusting.
Usually the adjustment is done at the handlebar end so some removal of the headset plastic may be required??
Possibly it may be at the carb end but check it out.
