    hey guys,

i need help, i was on my way home last night and stopped off to put some petrol in my Speed fight1 100cc bike, when i got back on the front and rear lights weren't working!!

The rear brake light works when brakes are applied and indicators work as well, but the always on rear light and the front beam just dont work at all, the lights on the dash dont work either, it was dark and a pretty horrific ride home in all honesty.

any ideas what this could be?

just to note, everything else works, the electric starter motor still works, indicators still work.

someone told me this could be either 2 blown bulbs or a fuse?!

I am not mechanically minded at all, any idea what it could be and how much I should expect to pay to get this fixed?

your help would be most appreciated,

    thanks guys,

    Richy

i would say either a fuse or the stator wiring is broken somewhere

Start with the simple things first, bulbs. Be unusual for them both to go at once, but check none the less. If they are ok then move on to the fuses.

    hey guys,

thanks for your hepl, took to a local garage and all they did was tighten the "Switch Gear" and hey presto we have lights!

they did point out that the back plastic part that has the indicators attached and what the mudguard is attached to is half hanging off!

i pulled down one side and can see a round hole where a screw should probably go in, but metal part of the body is in the way, is this as simple as putting a screw and a washer in from the inside?
