This morning, ridding to my work on my scooter, it was fine all the way until the last turn right into my work and .... I was indicating right, slowing down, positioned my self in the middle of the road (left side of the middle line), awaiting comming traffic to pass, then turned right.... a car passed by me from my left in about 40mph and beeped at me, the driver gave me his middle finger... I am new do scooter but I have been driving for 7-8 years and I have full understand of highway code. Have I done anything wrong???
not at all. Just make sure your brake light and indicator is working must just have been a R's ole having a bad day otherwise
Yes, you didnt shake your head at them. Ride like you are surrounded by idiot car drivers that have one intention, that being to knock you off your bike and kill you. Then factor in the ones that give you the finger and beep horns. They are the ones that will deliberately go out of their way to try and kill you. Basically welcome to British Roads. Lots of dickheads on them. Ride defensively at all times and if in doubt, use caution.
Just like the pizza delivery guy who pulled out on my mate and missed him by inches then pulled over and back out almost wiping me out. He sped off laughing but shit himself when I caught up with him and threatened to rip his head off.
