Good title ehh, says it all really how do they actually affect the handling of a runner with usd forks, i know they're longer but if theres more sag in the forks themselves the ride height and geometry when the bike is being rode might not be any different, but i don't know as i haven't rode one yet.
There bouncy as hell is all i can say! possibly a little too spesh around corners and making U-turns looks great tho :w00t:
both runner forks (rwu and usd) are the same length.. its only other bikes that are shorter (typh/nrg)
vx are actually rwu altho there commonly known as upside downs.... there the same length.. the 50 sp forks are shorter.
Nahh the vx forks are oil damped and rwu so aren't as susceptable to road shit getting at it, plus the stock ones are crap redefined !
stock ones are fine, its the WHEEL SIZE that makes scoots bumpy... those with softer forks feel better but handle poo... i would choose runner 50 forks out of all 3 used on the bike!! low an stiff, banging cornering on runner 50's
I agree totally with the banging cornering bit, that front end weight has got t's advantages much more planted than any other ped i've rode
