just finished my handle bar conversion on my zip had no problem fitting the stem as it was a str8 one and they have made improvements to them so that they are a better fit but after trying to fit the brake levers back on and throttle they dont seem to fit the tnt handle bars i have i have been thinking about getting a quick action throttle anyway but are they worth it?
They need opening a bit. my mate had this problem with his. Quick actions are pointless on 50's/low end 70's in my opionion to be honest.
i managed to get round the problem with the brakes as we have some japanese ped sitting up my work in bits and it has switches and brake lever built in so used that yea im going to be running a 70 kit so dont know whether to get a quick action throttle or not or rub the pain down so that i can slid the zip throttle on
quick action throttles are really better when u fit a larger carb but theres no reason why you cant fit it to a standard bike it just wont make a huge difference i would say ure better off trying to fit the throttle you already got
