gy6 125cc variator upgrade advice plz

Hi all im looking at getting the rollers changed to give it a better boost on acceleration which way do i go heavier or lighter rollers and what weight do i need also is it stronger or softer springs thanks

 

lighter rollers better acceleration, stronger springs will make it so you have more revs before you pull off and viceversa

 

Thanks for the info ive been trying to figure it out how they work and came up with the theory that if the weight is heavier the centrifugal force would take longer to throw the rollers up therefor by increased rpm the more torque is applied to the drive creating more acceleration from standing start? :-/

 

yeah something like that, heavy rollers makes for more inertia
