Grrr Police

i had my technigas on for bout 30mins then i went out up thisl ong strech of road doin 60 then cum bk but there was no polivce in sight when i came bk so i no my pipe works pulled out side my m8s and they sed my technigas is illegal :wtf: and i had to take it off ... so can any1 tell me if my technigas is legal or what ?? and i got laods of paper work off them giv me a produser and a free mot to put a road worthy pipe on what do i dooo???? *** HELP **

 

is the technigas e-marked...because technically if it is then its road legal
(as long as the restrictors not been took out) which of course it has!!

But thats a little harder to prove!! then just saying your pipes illegal!!

lol, there has been a change in the exhaust laws, although the E mark does mean your pipe is legal, if the police or MOT station deem the pipe too load they can fail it.

i'd tell them to get their facts right before accusing.

well im only 16 so i dont no a great lot yet lol but my pipe is a bit loud as it has a pin hole in it :rtfm: but it shud still pass MOT thingy for the police well it betta

nar i only came out of my m8s garden afat i put it on went up raod came bk and they was behind me so no1 cud of complained lol but soon as i get my mot pass for the e mark on my technigas am guna drive around a night and piss every1 coz police carnt do nothing about it if its road legal :w00t:

A coppers only got to take your bike up the road to see it goes a lot
faster than 30mph

and you could end up being charged with no license and insurance!!

Are you 16 rideing a bike licensed as a moped??

or are you 17 and your De-restricted scooter is registered as a motorcycle/scooter??

 

if it leaks then its not legal, your "pin hole" is likely to be a fail.

 

im 16 riding a 50cc moped with cbt and provisonal and insurance...

and the pin hole u can feel a lil bit of like air cumin out but its not much and it betta not fail like

 

If your 16 and your ped has been DE-RESTRICTED!!!!!!!

you are rideing illegally....simple as!!!!!!!!!!!!

And if the police find out...you could be charged with haveing no licence...no insurance....not to mention your ped may be contraveneing the lighting laws!!!!!!
