hello i stripped my bike down the other day to paint all the plastics, a few days later ive put it all back together but it wont start,(NO SPARK) anyway the electrics were left out in the open over night and when i got up the next morning it looked like it had been raining a bit.there is loads of juice in the battery and i carnt find a kill switch anywhere. dont think it has 1. there is a click sound coming from behind the key ignition. sounds like a indicator click only it just clicks the once. any help would be much appreciated

That's probably the starter relay. I presume that you didn't remove any ignition wiring, just the plastic fairings? If so, pop the front one off again and WD-40 some sense into the ignition switch and any block connectors that you can see. Damp might be shorting out the wiring from the stator or the feed to the CDI unit.

No I never removed any wiring just the fairings mate.do you mean the fairing behind the key ignition? What am I looking out for when you say block connectors? The square plastic blocks that the wires join with?

Yes, those are multi-pin connectors - spray them and the ignition switch.

WD-40 is a water displacing fluid, hence it's name; it's not a grease. Castrol have a similar product called Duck Oil. If there is water in the electrics it will get rid of it. No, you don't need to put it in where the key goes, just to the wiring on the back.
