Its official...i am now the owner of a bucket of bits bolted together with rust .not sure how old it is but its had a hard life.upload some pics when ive sorted how to do it
Funny you should mention, just clicking a vid- guy done up a puch magnum (70 airsal-matched e,50 cases) 48mph., Fancy that monza a bit. .
its model name is"Luna"and its made by a company called "kinetic".70cc pedals like a mped to start and cdi gubbins.all ac electrics..no battery.needs.front wheel.mud guard brake shoes cable and complete speedo system.same at rear and new chain sprockets.rear.front light and seat.plus a good rub down and a respray
pics coming soon.cant seem to get the local mechanics to understand what i want them to do.im not rushing to do anything cos the locals always have bits for sale so gotta put the word out and get some cheap bits for it.only bits i ain't replacing totally are engine and frame.everything else needs work or replacing.
there it is ..looks better there than real life.got some other pics but will have to load on fb first then rape them to here.bloody windows phone and it wont up load direct to s.s...
its a very simple machine.forks hold on by clips that screw in the spring and the whole engine wheel mudguard all on the swing arm held to the frame by one big bolt.a.c lighting no battery or indicators.needs both wheels and mud guards..all cables and speedo drive,seat,fr/r lights and an engine rebuild and frame respray.maybe new exhaust.
just took it up the mechanics ready for them when they get in first thing.pulled the pipe off to see if there was any petrol...no petrol...but the tap end broke off from old age so gotta get a new un now.better stop fiddling if i don't want stuff breaking or falling off
well i went back to get the ped sorted and they said they didn't do lunas..so i took it to another person and they refused to fix it.looks like ive got a struggle on my hands getting something done.need to get spanners and a good screw driver set.not wanting the job..anyone would think they were British..
Is it chinese? My tomos uses ac electrickery, it has a start button and blinker switch but no wiring for either, mine is nowhere near as rusty as yours!
its an indian company that makes it.ive got a switch for lighting and two pushbuttons to use a a kill switch and horn...its got a stop light but i think the list of luxuries stop there.the choke is a lever that slides outwards.outside a shop waiting for it to open and get a few bitsp started on it.going to try getting the small stuff first.leave the wheels and seat for the final reveal.
looks like ive been given a liability..no spare parts available for lunas.company went out of business years ago so the only bits in gonna get are from old bikes that have been scrapped.so im gonna be a bit busy finding another wreck i can use as spares..all day trying to get spares and all i found was brake shoes.
