Thought I might share this little lot with you all.
Finally got out the workshop at 9:30 tonight............knackered........too lazy to eat so battered the chocolate chip cookies instead.
I gotta move stuff out to do any work in here! DSC_0490.jpg
By the way, can anybody identify that little quad bike. A customer bought it in and asked if i can get it running for his 5 year old son. I ain't got a clue what make it is and half the damn thing is missing so i've not got much to work with.

most of the chinese quads come from the same factory, find what engine its a copy of and go by that. we sell e-ton at work, they use a minerelli copy motor which parts fit direct across (piston, carb, airbox etc etc).

Ok, so the kids got no money for a new panel for his gilera evo. :(
So i gave John Wayne a call and said I'll give him a trial run at being a scooter mechanic. Reckon he must have been looking at this post and listening to Scubabiker cos look what he did!!!

I had to let him go of course:D
So thats another one gone out the workshop today.

Started on that 54 plate Katana this afternoon, just to see if it would run at all. DSC_0500.jpg

Thank god i didn't put the exhaust on straight away. There was loads of oil in the cylinder that dumped itself onto the ramp. The starter sounds like it has had better days, but on the plus side it now runs quite smoothly after a bit of tinkering with not much smoke.
