looks well tidy If you want some stainless steel dog bones for the rear, give me a shout..I can get them cut  http://www.stigsdump.co.uk/html/fzr1000_exup.html
nope 550quid haha. Its oret to ride but when im on it i feel like im on a slope, rear end feels really low on the move, hence the jack up kit i want and the rear wheel is tiny and im getting use to that 140 lol. Apart from that its mint and stig how much and how high will it rise it?
need to know the length of the original hole centres first and their diameter .. from there you can shorten them about 8mm across the centres...usually get away with 40mm of lift at the rear. Dont sound alot but makes hell of a difference to the handling. If you go any higher, the shock catches on the hole in the swingarm. Stainless bones are usually £20 a pair posted to UK. Turnaround is approx 2 weeks at the mo coz the lads are silly busy (cut them in their spare time for beer money )
im intrested but just been on ebay and there 25mm will 40mm not be to high? do you not have a pic of a bike with one on fella?
Not a 600. Not measured the length of the bones on one. On the thou, you can go up to 50mm higher but it makes them VERY twitchy and the shock rubs the swinger under extreme load or if its tired If you look at Jasgees exup..that was lifted 50mm (click the pic to enlarge) http://www.exup1000.co.uk/gallery/members_bikes5.htm
deffo looks better and im intrested will pm you end of month when i get paid mate another thing i have been searchin for a fzr forum better still a uk one but just got this and its to dead for me lol http://www.fzrarchives.com/ipb/index.php?showforum=8 do you know of any mate?
sorry dont know any at present. Could try yamaha club (forum) I can access the site you state but thats the only uk based major site at present that I know of. FZR1000.co.uk has recently disappeared..they specifivcally catered for the 400/600's along with the other FZR models Our Exup site will always help out non- exup related stuff (afterall its only a valve in the exhaust) the rest of the bike is basically the same across the models Give me a shout when you want to sort the bones. Ps, keep it sunny side up
nice bikes these i went on the back of one when i was about 8 doin 120mph with my helmet liftin because it was about 3 sizes too big  deffo jack it up
