well im going to start racing scooters and i have an old beat up speedy in the beack garden so was thinking of building that up with a 180 runne engine but do i get a 2t or a 4t? and also does any1 know a really good set up to get the max out the engine?? its going to be all done propperly chromed and polished and custom pannels the lot like they do in germany
Lol speedy with 180 engine. Better off with the lower cc as more power to weight ratio. racing. = zip sp ...no competitor. 77cc
only doing it as i got a spare... so i cba with all them oh speedys are shit comments i just want gerneral advice on a runner engine thanks
How comes your not aware that the 2t is quicker especially tuned. No offense intended, but You need to do abit more homework if your plans are real and to be sucessfull
whatever you decide to put in the speedfight its gotta be 2 stroke, if your planning to race anybody that is
yea this is my homework haha i know a 2t is better but i just i dno wanted to make sure the 2t was better for this lol
2t is better, why not just do a fast 70? would probly work out cheaper, an you will be offff an be exactly like the people in germany.
are you planning to race in the bsso ? if so id check the rules & costs etc before u even attempt it, you deffo dont wanna spend cash chroming a engine/doing custom pans if so You obviously havnt researched one little bit on this subject
I suggest you research the bsso rules, youll find speedfights arnt used, the bike the engines are supposed to be in are used asin zips/runners/dragsters & typhoons
has anyone realised this kid thinks racing is less than using a bike on the road.. the times ive heard "ive got a car wiht no mot, i could use it as a grasstracker" only to laugh in there faces.... lets face it, racing ISNT just dragging a bike out of your garden wiht no mot, throwing on a lid and takin it about a track.... its gonna cost you a grand on parts for ANY engine you decide to build.. then its getting there (they WONT let you just ride to an event, plus the bike wont make it, so you need a van) the cost of getting there, the event fee's, fuel, tyres (few sets a time if your getting good tracktime) food... blah blah... this is besides the point tho, as you obviously dont have a grand to just throw at a bike every couple months.. stop dreaming, racing isnt for you, it costs more than running a big car, you cant even mot a speedfight.
