going slower again!

my bike has been going nicely until recently when its just slowed down top end. its nt revving like it used to and this is y its slower. checked my rollers last night and theyre fine. belt is ok too. whta might have caused it?

 

Well, you cant expect too much out of it. It is a Aerox after all.

 

it didnt go much anyway just that 5mph diff pisses me off see. might check carb/air box.

anyway back on topic. carbs opening and closing fine. airbox is sealed properly gonna give it a ride later.

 

Check you haven't got any shit in your fuel filter or that your throttle cable ain't snagging, cause believe it or not that's what has been making my bike slow, now i can bully Suzuki AP50's

check all transmission for wear to, could be a old belt, or worn rollers as you have said.

you say intake side is fine but remember to check the outake side, cheap shite oil can bung up exhausts so might be worth checking its not blocked or needs de-cokeing.

if all else fails check compression aswell. might just be time for a fresh set of rings!

 

i dont use cheap shite. castrol scooter power stuff lol. i think it might be my rings as the it kicks over quite eaily. however its been doing this for a while. gonna try new belt and rollers and if that faisl new bore i reckon. its done like 13000 miles without a new biston rings and gaskets etc.!!

try a new plug and while your there check your compression

 

compression is as its been since i got it but thts cos its a dirty 50 cc lol. all over 50s feel the same.
