Going off the clocks

If a peds clocks finish at 50mph and the lines carry on to the bottom of the clocks, and for some reason that needle keeps going to the end of the clocks what would you say top speed is? my mate recons 70mph because 'he worked it out' :msn1:

on a 50/70 i always take 10-12mph off what the clocks say to get a true(ish) mph reading!!

 

The thing is dave they goto the very last line where theres no numbers at all arc:

 

i think 50cc's only start over reading past 50mph.

piaggio ac gearing is lower than lc my bike limits out at 60mph and does will not go over as ive been clocked many times at 60 and there is still alot of power but it cant go any faster thats why im going to get a gear up dont flatter urself lol that nrg had a gear up kit its liquid cooled and had a hebo performer so it must be doing just over 60 thats why i got beat u knob havent seen ur bike yet wonder why
