going from leo vince zx to laser x pro

    as title says really. setup as most of you will know
    polini sport 70.
    dellorto 21mm carb
    pm 33 percent gear up
    zx pipe atm
    standard belt 4 g rollers standard variator
    hebo clutch
    stage 6 cnc race drive

    i have been clocked at 65 mph on straight with my head down and it hits the P on the speedo.

    is that good for a sport kit. ive been told that with a laser it will be a bit quicker than a leo vince zx.

    im not an expert but i think 65 is very good for a sport kit :)

    look... all this info is freely avalable... why upgrade from one sport pipe to another? the best sport pipe is a gianelli reverse.. and even then its only a sport pipe. no stub..

    if you want top upgrade go for a tubbed exhaust. like a yasuni/hebo/anything else in the EXHAUST GUIDE. stub's = larger exit diameter (also allow for alot more work on the exhaust port) sport basicly means a bit of fun... not as good as it could be, but itsa bit of fun.. they last.. this isdue to the nature of the kit an the exhaust fitting (olive type) that all sport kits have. with this in mind, any half decent pipe will work on a sport kit. no decent pipe will work much better wihtout a bit of work.

    so irelevent post really.. as this info is readily avalable on MANY sites not jsut this one, wiht lots of dyno background.. christ if you GOOGLE lazer x pro vs leo vince zx you will probably find one.

    ok the laser is on there now. sounds really tinny compared to the zx. but looks th epart.
    had 4gr rollers with the zx but was a bit heavy for the laser.
    gone down to some 3.2g but think these are a bit light,. i find the laser has a tighter powerband compared to the zx and it has more power at higher revs.
    atm it just revs quite high but you cant feel it tug really apart from when you are doinf about 10-20 mph and you blip the throttle.

    but when you look at the speedo you see it go up quite quick but it doesnt feel mega quick.
    ive been clocked at 65 mph but it struggle to get there sort of. might try heavier rollers. maybe 3.5. i have some 3.5g malossi so will try.

    desperate need of a polini variator though hehe,

    why so stuck on those pipes? ( lazer and zx) try a gianneli since you have a polini 70 kit gianneli or malossi is your best choice..yasuni tho is the best but a bit pricy so you should go for a malossi replica or a gianneli reverse..thats what i was gonna do..and thats what i did with mine..
