Just wondering, does it make a differnce if you put a gilera runner 180 engine in typhoon 50 compared with a typhoon 125 ? like is it harder/easier, any advice help would be much appreciated Cheer WiL
it should be ok with a bit of modding, i.e, grinding a couple of mill of each mount on the bike to make room for a bigger engine, bearing in mind typhons and runners have the same motor
what will be more, powerful, i.e. faster at acceleration and top end overall, a runner 172 or the typhoon engine 172'd ? anyone know ? Cheers WiL
Use the search. The only differences in fitting each engine will be all the cooling system for the lc engine. The engines are not the same. They are pretty much the same but one is L/C and one is A/C.
would i be better off having a liquid cooled 172 or an air cooled. and how easy is it to convert it to liquid cooled.
its not hard to convert to liquid cooled u need a radiator and a few other bits and bobs... and depends how much your goin to do to the engine... 172 kit... carb... pipe then air cooled... but if your goin all out tuning go for the liquid cooled...
ive decided on just having the typh engine ( air cooled ), as it will save me money and time, and there is no point in converting as it will be capable of what i need. cheers for all the advice.
