i fixed all my bike up now and bleeded it but wen ever i start it the water comes out the coolant bottle even if i got a lid on if comes out and air some out of it tried everything check pipes none blocked radiator isnt blocked have no clue why it coud be doin this any1 got any ideas
i got a new lid on it i tried a different rad and bottle still did it shud i take thermostat off u rekon and wat wud be wrong wiv my rings or wateva it runs i can ride it but it dnt cool it dwn
pipes are on backwards.... ie the wrong pipe is on the wrong end of the bottle... swap them over at rad end. remove the thermostat (fuck all use in a tunned uk scoot)
when you rev the bike, is water (when looking into the expansion bottle with lid off) suppost too come out of the top 1 ? and get sucked out the bottom 1 of the bottle ?
yer thats whats meant to happen it does but bare pressure and air comes with it even knows i bleed it all threw
ye they all do this with the lid off.... once the bottle gets pressure up it keeps the water in the rad.. hence the max fill level is half way full... dont oferfill
i dont fill it all the way up i fill it halfway and even wen i put the lid on it does it comes out still coz so much pressure it even blew my rad off coz teh pressure even wen i'm nt throttleing but i think i might of sorted it i replaced the orings coz they were bare worn
