basically the plastic tube that goes into the side of the engine behind the magneto i snapped so i orderd a brand new one and now it dribbles out and doesnt stop leaking any ideas people
Should be an "o" ring seal around where it plugs into the casing. Check it`s on there, if not replace and if it still leaks use hi-temp silicon sealant.
cheers for the reply the o seal ring was missing of the new one so i took it of the old one and its all good now but i have a feeling ive set up the carb wrong as theres like 5 pipes running to my carb and i havnt a clue which ones go where hock:
5 pipes? well, ether its a 50, has water heating or theres just 2 pipes for the overflow.... smallest pipe is oil, that go's on the small brass fitting, the blkack one will go to the front of the carb (not usually brass, but visually you can see it leads to inside the manifold area, well, just befor it) and the big clear one is fuel, wich will go at the rear of the carb normally.. brass usually (depending on carb) best bet, take some pics and ill tell you what go's where... or gimmi the bike model and carb type and ill talk you through it.
cant get any pics at the minute mate but basicaly its a gilera runner sp 50 2005 model the little oil tube is connected at the back of the carb and then above that theres 2 other connections for tubes im pretty sure the other 2 are for the water coolant system and now around the other side of the carb there is 2 connections opposite each other and i have the big clear petrol pipe and black pipe joined together but i dont know which one goes where
