Hi i have bought a lovely little Gilera Stalker for my misses to ride about on, Its a 2008 with only 1200 miles on it, its been standing for about a year... I have gone over it and made sure its all good and all seems fine and rides really well... Been out on it a few times now and its been ok only the last time i rode it, it started to squeel on pull away, no other problems, just the noise.... I have had motorbikes for years but i have to say Scooters are alien to me, so any help would be much appreciated. thanks
Best thing would be to buy a haynes manual for it as what i'm going to tell you to do will sound completely alien otherwise. It could be that you need to open up the transmission and put on a bit of grease on the cylinder that the variator sits on.
