Just got a 2007 (newshape) Gilera runner SP50 (non runner) looks like its been messed about with, just wondering if someone can tell me where the fuel/oil pipes go, and there are 2 pipes coming from the fuel pump and one of them has a T piece with another 2 pipes coming off it which are not connected to anything.

    Can anyone help ?

    Thanks

if u can send a pictures where those pipes go to ill label them for and tell u where goes where...as i remember there is a vacuum valve and compression pump that pumps the petrol in to a small bottle near the petrol tank..and from their is a vacuum pump that lets the petrol flow in to the carb.

if im right the black bit goes in to the engine somewhere try find that nossle..and the clear end goes to the vacuum valve..

There are 2 pipes coming from the fuel pump 1 goes to the carb (fuel pipe) and the other is an oil pipe, but has a T piece on the end with 2 other pipes coming off (as in the pic) im thinking one of those pipes could be a vacum pipe that goes to the side of the reeds ?

i dought that its an oil pipe.. theres a vaccum pump in that gilera,so from the T bit one black pipes probably goes to the engine and the second to the reed valve

Yes, I can see where it goes at the side of the reeds, but there is knowhere else for the other one to go on the engine, so im thinking the black one will go to the side of the reeds, but what about the clear pipe ?

I got one from 99 and its old shape are you sure thats coming from the petrol pump that look way too wide to be any of those you said the oild pip its thin goes into the carburetor so does the petrol one too and only one goes into the engine well now depends of which petrol pump you got

petrol pump should only have three pipes petrol feed from the main tank the vacuum and the feed to the carb

The clear pipe is your fuel pipe to carb, the black pipe is vacuum to pump and goes to nozzle at the side of the reed valve block, the t piece is a bodge put there as usual by someone who says they know everything but knows nothing. So.....remove the t and put the pipe where it should go, your oil pipes are even simpler, the feed from your 2t tank goes down into the crankcase behind the front pulley in your pic to the oil pump, then a smaller thinner pipe goes from the pump to the carb, they do not go anywhere else.
