Right so was fitting my mates evos the other day (horrible things to fit) and needed to swap the lock over for the seat.

For those that will know what I am going on about, I have taken the C clip off and loosened the spring. I have also taken out the seat barrel.

I have no idea how to take out the plastic bit which is the operating system for the lock.

Any ideas? Mate has also snapped it off the panel because it the whole panel was preety much in half anyway

    Kyle you suck :(

What side is the rubber bit mate and how do I get it out, like from the side of the key or inside the panel?

ok so you've taken the c clip off which will let the key lock come out, now what you want to do is look at the panel from the inside, there is a little slot in it now in there is a tiny little pin which you need to remove and then it should all come apart ;)

The pin which is in the back of the panel is not allowing the back part of the seat lock to come off, once you've taken the little pin out it will all come apart.

When I get evo's for my runner 50/70 project im not gonna bother with the seat lock as runner seats are piss to pop without the key lol. I can open it quicker that it takes to get my keys out my pocket
