gilera runner rear pully spacer

    i was just wondering if there is supposed to b a spaces behind the rear pully and the cover for the gears, because when i took of my clutch assembly there were marks where the pully had scored a circle around the axel. is this normal?

    if its an old shape engine it needs a spacer behind the clutch, if its new shape it needs a spacer betwen the clutch bell and cover

    yes, so it has a spacer infront of the clutch bell... the shaft stops it rubbing once its pulled out by the tranny cover bolt. it will only rub if you start/riude the bike without the cover nut on.
