gilera runner purejet 50 starting problems

has anybody got any experience working with purejet scooters as my friend has just got a gilera runner purejet it has spark but will not start. and do you know how to check if it's getting fuel and any common problems i hav looked all over with no look also does the injector need beeding for it to be abe to start

 

I guess a fairly simple way of checking it's getting fuel, take the pipe off the carb and if any fuel drips out..

 

this model has no carb it uses a injector i think
have you ever seen one of these ?
