Nope. Your final drive bearing is knackered and that could be only the start of it. If the shaft has gone badly out of alignment and is loose and wobbly, you may have damaged the gear teeth as well. You need to remove the clutch and strip the gearbox off to assess the damage.
Cheers mate. I've stripped and cleaned it and everything's looks good all gear teeth and bearings. In the first video the rolling nut was not done up nor the hub. Please check out the video I just uploaded now. The noise does not occur when then clutch shaft is pulled out. My question is, when I've air gunned up the rolling nut and hub will the noise not happen? Also will the clutch shaft be pulled out like I done in the video. Thanks in advance mate!
I find they all make a bit of noise. If you've stripped it and the bearings are smooth when you turn the inner hub, don't sweat it. If you've got a glitchy bearing - replace it. It sounds like one of the races is tired. They tend to be the ones on the corrector shaft as that's the bit that gets the most abuse. Bloody clean case by the way. What did you clean it with ? Hydrochloric acid ?
Thanks mate I've order a replacement gearbox, if that don't do it I'll look to replace the bearings! Thanks, the casings have been sand blasted.
