gilera runner forks and front wheel problem...

    My handle bars are not in line with the front wheel and forks i think the front wheel may be buckled but i dont know what to do or where to start as i dont know alot about fixing bikes :cry: :cry:

    Remove the panels surrounding the handle bars , undo the bolt that clamps the bars to he forks and move the handle bars into position , then re tighten the bolt and assemble the panels back on . This is of course assuming your handle bars and forks are all true .

    Regarding the front wheel . put the bike on centre stand and place something under the belly pan to keep the front wheel of the ground , spin the wheel and look at the side of it (from the front) to check for run out. If you place something like a flat screwdriver against a fork leg Pointing to the rim wall (keeping it about 2mm) from the rim , spin the wheel and the distance between the tip of your tool and the rim should not change. do this to both sides of the rim .
