Its not much at the moment, my lights, neons and charger ports were working until tonight when something shorted out (shoddy job before) so I've decided to start again from scratch, its gonna be a proper job this time!!

    it currently contains:
    4x white LED's
1x illuminated cigarette lighter port which works as car charger port
    1x switch for LED's

soon to add another switch for neons :)

this is my control panel so far...

    Don't take this personally but....

Oh great, a cigarette lighter on a scooter which is located under the seat! CONVENIENT!

I like the fact your doing something different though, and good job on doing it yourself!

the lighter socket under the seat is really useful for charging phones etc..

That would be verry handy indeed but i would of made it into the original plastics but apart from that its a good idea you could even rig a swich to turn your lights on under the seat when you open it.

I'm going to look into that idea!!!

all of the electrics are built into the original tool compartment *big enough for a small screwdriver ha ha*
and the switches etc are all built into the compartment cover, this way if it goes wrong or anything i do not leave holes in the actual bike

any ideas for other things to add to my switchboard?

To me personally, it's useless. I wouldn't ever need to use it as a charger as my phones are always on charge unless I'm out (some weird habit)

Again, i like the fact your doing something different and trying new things, but if you intended on doing it just for the sheer fact of charging your phone, why wouldn't you do that at home? (charge phone at home)

As Wobbly mentioned, it would be useful for the tank cam then that's great if your doing a lot of videos worth bothering with the installation.

i tend to forget to charge my phone until i have to go to college and its a good way from my house to college which means i can simply charge my phone as i drive then it works all day, its useful for me even if not for other people, so thats what matters :D plus its a fun project to do :D

was it hard to get one of those cigarette lighters and are they hard to wire as i am tempted cause i always use my lighter and run out of battery, and i like the light under the seat mean police wont see them and help when you are looking for something in the seat. :nerd:

i don't think the bike would be able to cope with the load from a fridge

the answer is get the slow puncture sorted, they are dangerous.
