gilera runner clutch noise

    hi there i was wondering if anyone could help me. i have a gilera runner vx 125 and a weird tapping noise is coming from around the clutch area. could anyone tell me what it is or how too sort it please. help would be very much appreciated. thanks

    have you tried opening up your trannycase/kickstart casing

    Its probably just the rollers knocking about. Does it only do it at tickover or when you come to a stop? If yes, im 99% sure its the rollers knocking about. Ive had this on every piaggio 4T ive ever owned, one being a runner vxr180.

    it does it all the time now but there's like a metal rattling with it now. i had the casing off it and found that the metal plate between the actual clutch and the belt pulley is rattling. could you tell me how to stop the tapping and that plate from rattling please.

    the triangular metal plate that's on to the back of the clutch on three rods with surclips
