Gilera runner 70cc won’t start

my gilera won’t start anymore as the Bendix keep getting stuck in the flywheel when I’m trying to electric start it and the kick start gets stuck I’ve changed the bendic and starter motor any other suggestions

 

take the transmission cover off and turn the front pulley by hand, make sure it moves smoothly. also check the teeth on the front pulley.

 

the front pully is stiff to turn by hand what does that mean

Or bad mains anyway..

 

I'd say check compression but as you cant turn over the engine, you can't. It being rough to turn suggests possible piston ring failure.

 

Yeah, ring failure or crank bearings....

 

Ran without oil maybe?
