I have recently purchased a 50cc Gilera Runner and i'm having electrical problems. I was wondering whether anyone else has encountered them or knows how to fix them.

My front light is really dim.
When I press my brakes and the lights on, the brake light goes dimmer.
When my lights are on my indicators don't work but they do when they're not on.
My clocks don't like up when the lights are on but the petrol light stays on.
Indicators work when front lights off but instead of the indicator light on the dash flash the petrol light flashes aha.

Anyone know how to fix this?
    Cheers,

Is the battery getting charged? Sounds like someone made a mess of the wiring tbh id check that everything was connected up properly on the clocks and the other electrics with a wiring diagram.

Checked it today, it was a frayed wire. It's all good now only that the lights are still dim and that indicators don't work when the lights are on. I think the battery's gone, would a 125cc runner battery work on mine?

Yeah any 12v battery should be ok. A 125 one might not fit under the seat mind
