My bike has only been doing this recently say if im at traffic lights and pull off it will hardly move and sounds asif its redlining then power kicks in it doesnt do it on straights just when i come to a island for instance can anyone tell me why its doing it thanks!
does it do it all the time, or just when the engines cold ? its probably just all the damp and cold we are experiencing lately... if your suspicious of the choke assembly, you could whip it out and give the plunger a squirt of wd40, or better still see if theres a manual choke kit for it, far better imho :good: would be worthwhile sticking a new spark plug in if it hasnt been changed for a while
It does it when its warm aswell and cheers mate will get a new plug and probably the manual kit cheers.
it could be carb icing if its cold or some crap in the jet. My lad had a similar thing on his manual choke ...that turned out to be a broken strand in the cable inner
