Ive had my engine cases flowed and the head ported. Im planning on putting a 55mm long stroke crank in aswell. My question is because the bore hes been ported the walls are alot thinner so do i have to cut the gasket down to match the bore. Just to stop the gasket blocking the ports that have been widend. Also do i install a base plate for the 55mm crank say a 3mm base plate ?? Any advice would be appreciated.
Im not sure what its been ported for just know its been ported. Also i havent searched because id be looking for hours the amount of forums that are on here. Easier just to ask and then get the answer.
