Gilera Runner 178 Base gasket

Sorry for the bad bad quality! you can just make out the base gasket used for a 54mm pm crank.. its a load of them card gaskets used.. This is surely not ideal and should have a aluminum 1.5mm base gasket? It runs fine and all but im thinking of getting a new 172 engine and thought obviously cant use them as gaskets again so i should get a 1.5mm ally abse gasket. Just checkiing with you guys as you know more than me, Again sorry for the bad picture but im sur eyou can jsut make it out.

 

Ahh soo with a 54mm crank its 1mm? Cool thanks . Ah well you can see theres the mallosi bore kit.. and the orange stuff is the card base gasket.. terrible like i said.
